Our tote bags were made by the talented young people at HopeTown, a community organisation based in Ocean View in Cape Town that upskills young people whose circumstances have often forced them to give up formal schooling before they’ve matriculated.
Social workers, teachers, pastors and mentors work alongside the youth enrolled in their programmes, equipping them with the opportunities and stability they’ll need to build their own futures.
It’s a long-term investment in the youth, rooted in community. This means that all profits go back into programmes, training and opportunities in Ocean View.
